Thom Hartmann

Thom Hartman

Thom Hartmann has authored over a dozen books, including two bestsellers and five books translated and published on four continents. His books have been reviewed in Time magazine. Businesses he has started have been featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal. And he's been interviewed on numerous radio and TV shows, including NPR's All Things Considered, CNN and the BBC both for his writing and for his international relief work.

His book, The Prophet's Way, brought him a private audience with Pope John Paul II in 1998. The Dalai Lama was so impressed with The Last Hours of Ancient Sunlight that Hartmann spent a week with His Holiness in 1999.

Most recently, Hartmann began a syndicated radio talk show, which reaches listeners across the country on terrestrial radio stations, the Sirius satellite radio system, and live on the Internet. Click here for audio samples from Thom’s radio show.

Thom is also the acclaimed creator of the “Hunter in a Farmer's World” metaphor for describing ADD and ADHD. His other recent books include Unequal Protection: The Rise of Corporate Dominance and Theft of Human Rights and A Return To Democracy: Reviving Jefferson's Dream (July, 2004).

Neil Cohn

Neil Cohn is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and has studied in Japan at Tsuru University. His artistic works have been featured in UC Berkeley’s first year Japanese textbook, and have inspired a ballet at the California Institute of the Arts. He has recently been gaining attention for his work studying how the comic medium communicates, and is the author of Early Writings on Visual Language. His book, Vanished Culture: Anasazi Exodus from the Colorado Plateau, will be published in the summer of 2004. He is working on two books about movies as teachers of life and dreams of the culture.
